QA Lead at Autodesk

Took up position of onsite lead for QA team at Autodesk in very low trust environment and client manager was considering moving to different vendor

Actions: 

  • Ramped up domain knowledge as well as testing skills and personally ensured quality of all important deliverables

  • Took up responsibility of getting team up to speed and ensuring accountability within the team

Results

  • Team grew from 3 to 20 within a year

  • Earned client trust to the point where at the end of the year, when a new lead position opened up, the requirement given was, “They should be exactly like Sid”
